Who this may help

When living abroad carries more than people can see

For adults living away from familiar language, relationships and cultural reference points.

Belonging and identity

Loneliness, cultural fatigue, feeling between worlds, or the pressure to keep adapting without losing yourself.

Transitions and relationships

Relocation, grief, separation, parenting abroad, intercultural relationships or important connections held at a distance.

Work and direction

Professional pressure, burnout, role changes, uncertainty about staying or returning, and questions about what comes next.

The therapeutic frame

A stable conversation across countries and cultures

Therapy in a familiar language can make room for the subtleties that are often lost in translation. Sessions are available in English or French, with attention to the cultural and professional contexts that shape life abroad.

Enquiries are welcome from people based in London, Singapore, the United States and elsewhere. Availability depends on time zone, fit, your physical location at the time of sessions and whether the service can appropriately be provided there.

Therapy or coaching?

Therapy is generally the more appropriate frame when emotional distress, relationships, personal history or recurring patterns need deeper exploration. Coaching is designed for a defined professional goal, decision or transition. The first call can help clarify the distinction, and the therapy or coaching comparison provides a useful overview.

How online sessions work

  1. Free first call. Thirty minutes to meet, understand what you are looking for and check whether the service can be offered from your location.
  2. Clear practical frame. Frequency, timing, fee and video arrangements are agreed before the first session.
  3. Private regular space. You join from a quiet, confidential place with a stable connection and enough time around the session.
  4. Regular review. We check how the work is developing and adjust the frame when needed.

Practical questions

Which languages are available?

Online sessions can be held in English or French.

Can we work across time zones?

Potential times are coordinated around your location and availability. The first call helps establish whether a sustainable regular slot is possible.

What are the fees?

The fee, frequency and practical conditions are explained before the first session so you can make an informed decision.

Is online therapy available in every country?

Not automatically. Eligibility depends on your physical location, individual situation, the applicable local framework and whether video work is suitable for your needs.

Is this an emergency service?

No. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact the emergency services where you are physically located.
