Coaching themes

Professional change in an international context

For expats, returning expatriates and professionals whose work, identity and decisions cross countries or cultures.

Career transition

Role change, relocation, return to work, career pivot, redundancy or the question of whether to stay, return or move again.

Leadership and boundaries

Communication, confidence, visibility, difficult relationships and finding a sustainable posture in a new professional culture.

Decision and direction

Competing priorities, loss of meaning, stalled action or the need to convert a broad question into a workable plan.

A practical frame

Coaching that accounts for the whole context

International careers rarely involve a professional question alone. A decision may also affect a partner, children, language, immigration status, identity and the possibility of returning home. Coaching creates room to see that complete system while keeping the work focused on a defined objective.

Enquiries are welcome from professionals in London, Singapore, the United States and other locations. Sessions are coordinated around time-zone compatibility, fit and any local requirements that apply.

Coaching or therapy?

Coaching is appropriate when there is a professional objective, decision or transition to clarify and translate into action. It is not psychotherapy and does not replace medical or therapeutic care. If emotional distress or recurring personal patterns are central, therapy may be the more suitable frame. The first call and the therapy or coaching guide can help distinguish them.

How the process works

  1. Free clarity call. We define the question, the desired outcome and whether coaching is the right format.
  2. Shared objective. The scope, rhythm, fee and indicators of useful progress are agreed before starting.
  3. Focused sessions. Each conversation combines reflection, perspective and concrete next steps grounded in your real constraints.
  4. Experiments and review. You test actions between sessions and use what happens to refine the direction.

Practical questions

Before you begin

Which languages are available?

Coaching can take place in English or French.

Can sessions work across time zones?

Yes, when a sustainable slot can be found. The first call is used to check availability against your current location.

What are the fees and duration?

The fee, proposed rhythm and likely scope are explained before the process begins. They depend on the nature of the objective and the format agreed.

Is the conversation confidential?

The coaching frame and confidentiality expectations are clarified at the start. You should join from a private place, especially when discussing workplace situations.
